This is an original artwork by Angela Watson of Antayjo Art.
This piece called- ‘Colour Fool’ is a fairly new direction of work for me using fabric and thread. Exploring as always lots of detail, colour and themes of fashion and pattern etc. This work came about very organically with limited pre planning. Cut, place, stitch to make a concept then go with it. If using lots of colour makes me a fool, then I am one!
MATERIALS-
This is a hand cut and hand sewn (cotton fabric and thread) artwork on white grained embroidery backing. I have used my own surface designs printed on fabric to create some of the base.
MEASUREMENTS-
The artwork is 19 cm x 14 cm and has an unfinished back. (Exposed thread work)
A card of authenticity will accompany this artwork.
This item will be packaged in a cello sleeve.
NOTE- Care has been taken to display colours accurately but due to monitors displaying differently this may mean the item could look slightly different in person as to how it is viewed on screen.
